You don’t need a Twim Cam FLTRX Road Glide to take part in Charleston’s First Bike Fest as there will be entertainment all weekend including the Kyle Petty’s Charity Ride Breakfast on Friday morning, 8 a.m. at Low Country Harley-Davidson & Buell located in Charleston, just five miles north on I-526 from Abberly.
Petty and approximately 175 NASCAR fans, motorcycle enthusiasts and Victory Junction supporters left Lake Placid, New York on May 7 and are headed to Amelia Island, Florida as part of the 17th Ride Across America in support of a special camp for special kids with health care needs.
On Saturday, all events will benefit the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. That includes a saloon-style open ride, a custom bike show from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and a chance to take a picture with Dolly Dee from Bizaroo Burlesque.
Syke Paige and the Original Recipe will bring their rockabilly blues to the stage to close the weekend with a performance starting at 2 p.m. Call (843) 554-1847 for more information.
